GO BUCKS! O-H-I-O! When your love story started right here on campus, having an Ohio State University Engagement is 100% the best way to go. Garret and Madelyn met at OSU in 2014 and quickly fell in love. Garret proposed in October 2018 at Scioto Mile in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Therefore they wanted to do their engagement pictures in October. I was so excited! Talk about perfect; it was like a romantic movie.

We started out the session with their two dogs. They had the most adorable bandanas that said “My humans are getting married!” One of my favorite things about engagements is when my couples bring props that they are excited about. I always encourage my couples to make the day all about them. For example help you pick your location, props, and outfits so you feel 100% true to self.
We made our way through Ohio State University’s campus. The fall here in Ohio is breathtaking. On campus there was a warm glow everywhere you went. It was like a dream. Above all Garrett and Madelyn were so much fun and felt so at home.
Don’t be afraid to add in some of your own stuff during your engagement pictures like outfit changes or even champagne. I want to capture your day and have fun with you along the way.
They did an outfit change into their Ohio State jerseys and took a minute to be in the moment and take in that stunning fall sunset glistening through the trees. After we had our fun visiting and reminiscing we ended the night with popping bottles! It was a perfect end to a perfect day.
