There’s just something about midsummer weddings at Oak Grove — the golden light, the glass greenhouse, and that blend of rustic charm and elegance that makes everything feel like a dream.
Ben & Kailey’s wedding was the perfect mix of timeless romance and joyful energy. From the first look beneath the greenhouse to the emotional ceremony inside, every moment felt soaked in meaning and beauty. And as their photo and video team, it was such an honor to preserve it all — the big emotional beats and the quiet, in-between moments.
Getting Ready: Quiet Excitement & Sweet Anticipation
The day began with soft laughter, handwritten vows, and the sweetest pre-wedding gifts. Kailey got ready with her bridesmaids nearby in the bridal cottage at Oak Grove, with light filtering through the windows and her dress hanging nearby like a promise. Meanwhile, Ben and his guys were just down the lane sharing drinks, tying ties, and getting hyped for the day ahead.
First Look In The Greenhouse
Before the ceremony, Ben & Kailey shared a private first look at the alter. These moments are always a favorite to capture — the anticipation, the tears, the way everything else just pauses for a minute. It was quiet, sacred, and so them.
The Ceremony: Greenhouse Romance
Their ceremony took place inside the breathtaking greenhouse at Oak Grove — an architect’s dream and a photographer’s paradise. Sunlight danced through the panes as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by lush greenery and their closest people. It was heartfelt, personal, and completely unforgettable.
Golden Hour + The Most Joyful Party
Post-ceremony, we snuck away for golden hour portraits, and let me tell you — the light SHOWED UP. These are some of my favorite images of the day. Then it was time for the party, and this crew did not hold back. Emotional toasts, a packed dance floor, and a “cell phone light up” exit shot that felt like pure magic.
