A Romantic German Village Wedding | Taylor + Josh

On a warm July day in the heart of Columbus, Taylor and Josh celebrated their love with an unforgettable wedding at The Century in German Village. From the getting-ready excitement at The Hilton Columbus Downtown to the champagne tower that kicked off their reception, their day was full of elegant details, joyful moments, and timeless romance.

Getting Ready at the Hilton

Taylor began her morning surrounded by her closest friends and family at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. With hair and makeup by the talented team at Penzone, the atmosphere was a perfect mix of laughter, anticipation, and heartfelt emotion. Every detail reflected Taylor’s modern yet classic style, from her elegant bridal look to the personal touches woven throughout the morning.

Meanwhile, Josh and his groomsmen prepared with equal excitement, counting down the hours until the ceremony. Both groups buzzed with anticipation, knowing the day ahead was one they’d never forget.

A Ceremony at The Century

The ceremony was held at The Century in German Village, one of Columbus’s most charming historic venues. The couple opted for an indoor ceremony, which gave their vows an intimate and warm atmosphere. Taylor walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, meeting Joshua beneath the venue’s timeless brick and wood backdrop.

Officiated by Julie the brides godmother, the ceremony was heartfelt and personal. The couple’s decision to skip a first look made this moment even more powerful, with Josh’s expression saying everything as he saw Taylor for the first time in her gown.

Celebrating in Style

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour before moving into a reception that perfectly blended romance with fun. De Santis Florist transformed the space with lush floral arrangements that set the stage for an evening of celebration.

As the newlyweds made their entrance, they kicked things off with a champagne tower toast, setting the tone for a night filled with love, laughter, and dancing. Dinner, catered by Catering By Scott (Scotty’s Café), was a delicious buffet enjoyed by all.

The cake—crafted with love by Taylor’s sister, Emma Hildebrand (@emma_hildebrand)—was a sweet highlight of the night. And when the dance floor opened, DJ Quinten Johnston (@_iamdjq) kept the energy high, ensuring the celebration lasted well into the night.

Capturing Every Moment

From the quiet, emotional moments before the ceremony to the vibrant energy of the dance floor, it was such a joy to capture both photo and video for Taylor and Josh’s wedding. Their love story was told not only through still images but also through cinematic movement—preserving every laugh, every tear, and every glance for years to come.

A Perfect Summer Wedding

Taylor and Josh’s wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are: warm, joyful, and timelessly romantic. Their choice of The Century in German Village offered the perfect mix of historic charm and modern celebration. Surrounded by family, friends, and so much love, their wedding day was everything they dreamed it would be.
