I have been SO excited to share John and Ellen’s wedding at The Madison in Kentucky. We explored the venue prior to their wedding during their engagement session so this wedding has been much anticipated. Not even the rain could stop the love from radiating off of John and Ellen.

Ellen and John got ready at the coolest hotel in Covington, Kentucky right in the same area we did their engagement photos. Ellen was an absolutely breathtaking bride. She started the day out the best way any girl could ask for, SIPPING ON DRINKS IN YOUR ROBE with her best gals. UM YES sign me up. Having the best of the best when getting ready is so important! Ellen’s Hair + Makeup Artists were so much fun! In another room John celebrated with his guys. They started the party and kept it going.
This Wedding is a perfect example that it’s all in the details; from the bouquet, dress, and drinks it all brought so much life to a stormy day.
Ellen’s floral arrangements from Granville Flower Company were stunning. Not to mention her dress. It was so pretty, SO PRETTY!
All of the first looks, yes all of them had me in tears! From Ellen’s mom helping her into her dress, to Ellen’s father’s first look, and John seeing Ellen for the first time during their first look on the patio at the hotel they all were all pulling at your heartstrings as you felt their love and dedication fill the room.
After a beautiful ceremony their family and friends brought the party to the reception and celebrated with lots of laughs and dancing. Let’s not forget the most incredible menu with Bourbon glazed brisket and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. YUM!
We snuck out and took a bus to get that beautiful Cincinnati skyline. Despite the rain everyone had a blast with umbrellas in hand and laughing as they ran through the rain. Not to mention how much John and Ellen glow when they are surrounded by their amazing wedding party.
