Nelsons Ledges Quarry Park Engagement // Joe + Kayla

Taking a step into this Nelsons Ledges Quarry Park Engagement was like taking a step into a woodland fairytale. Located in Garrettsville, Ohio are quartz and sandstone cliffs throughout the most beautiful park. I drove 2 hours to this location and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Joe and Kayla found me on Facebook. We had a facetime call prior to their session and I was super excited to get to hang out with these two. When we met they brought their Daughter and her Grandpa with her. I’m pretty sure they are the sweetest and super laid back family I’ve ever met in my life. Their daughter was so cute and had a sign that said “My mommy and daddy are getting married!”

An Engagement filled with cascading rocks, playing tag in the fields, and cracking beers. #perfect!

These two had so much fun together. They took me around the park and showed me some magnificent spots that had so much magic within every nook and cranny. We then went to a nearby field and they ran around playing tag and giving each other piggyback rides. They were so playful and so in love with one another. We cracked a beer together and basked in the sunset. These two made me feel like we had known each other forever. They killed it! I can’t wait for their wedding at Alford’s Glen Wedding Barn in Garrettsville, Ohio with all of its rustic charm and privacy it’s a perfect wedding location.
